Our Story…
We provide quality performance instruction to youth in Carroll and Frederick Counties in Maryland and Southern Pennsylvania.
Taneytown Dance Center is located in the heart of historic downtown Taneytown, Maryland. Taneytown Dance Center first opened its doors in 2004 under the direction of Kimberly McCord-Golliday (known by her students and their parents as “Miss Kim”). We pride ourselves on the integrity of our studio and the quality of the dance experience. We strive not only to instruct dance and technique but to encourage positive self-esteem, honor, poise, teamwork, and a strong respect for others.

We are a non-competitive studio focusing on the art and love of dance.
We offer classes for dancers of all ages, beginning at 18 months through young adult. Our skilled staff provides quality instruction in Ballet, Performance Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theater, a comprehensive Pointe Program and opportunities to be a part of our Pre-Professional Performing Dance Companies.
